Gridlock Tactics
★★★★★ 4.5
Gridlock Tactics is a compact strategy game built around small, sharp skirmishes on hex grids. You bring a handful of units, each with distinct abilities, and try to outmaneuver the enemy in a fixed number of turns. Losing usually means you made one greedy move too many.
There's a clean puzzle-like quality to each mission — often only one or two openings actually work. The undo button on movement (before you commit an attack) removes the fiddly-thumb frustration without dumbing down the tactics.
It saves per mission and runs offline, so it's ideal for chewing on one tricky scenario during a break.
